Michael Lewis gets more out of bashing Goldman than if he did nothing or supported them. Populist sentiment is against them, he caters to the limousine liberals of Hollywood and "industry". Honestly, he's making a lot of money doing this and is both a popular speaker and party guest. I would compromise my notion of Goldman Sachs and investment banks for the kind of life he is probably living.
