Thoughts on non-alcoholic beverages?

Has anyone tried, have had experiences or done work on non-alcoholic beverages? Recently read/listened to some stuff on them, seems it could be geared more toward people who are already using another substance; which is somewhat interesting because it use to be more considered for straight edge sober people.

I came here for the title, but I fall under the straight edge sober category so I probably won't be helpful.

You don't drink any non-alcoholic beverages? How are you still alive?

Yeah I drink water or La Croix or Green Tea.

Yeah, it's called being at the office or having work to do remotely because I'm a professional. Water (with or without some Mio in it for flavor), Rockstar, Sprite, Apple juice.

But your comment comes off like you might've meant something else? So if that's the case you really need to explain and expand on that. You left us with more questions than answers.

Meaning more alcohol free beer, wine, or champagne.

lol ok - Why didn't you say this initially?

If you're at home, I don't see how a Rolling Rock is a bad idea. I can get the whole idea that drinking one would satisfy someone's innate urge to drink. Same for drinking sparkling apple juice, a virgin margarita or pina colada, etc. Just something to give the psyche that notion they're having a drink and going through the motions.

But on the other hand...if it's really an issue and hard intervention is needed, they can also look into things like Naltrexone. Or if they really want to test their might Mortal Kombat style? Antabuse.

Mods, not a doctor, just done my homework. No medical reccmmendations.

Apparently he meant to say "non-alcoholic beer, wine, or champagne" as stated later in the thread.

First, look up at the post above this one. Then look below to me agreeing with your asking the same thing. Now look at yourself typing out a good joke about me ripping off the Old Spice commercial using this format.

topical, I'm going to a concert this weekend and I'm not supposed to be drinking, so probably gonna only have just 1 and then just water

Some of my pregnant friends did the non-alcoholic Heinekens at parties - I tried one and it’s not bad. I wouldn’t drink it at the office though, or anywhere for that matter, I don’t exactly crave just the taste of beer without the alcohol

I have smoked CBD that doesn't have THC. Pre-rolled joints. Terrible. Like sucking air.

Sip on a nice Scotch, a well crafted Old Fashioned or Rob Roy (the whiskey sour can GDIAF, along with the side car), a proper tequila sunrise instead of the lame brunch Mimosa staple. Or a Barracuda if you want some Rum instead. Or a Pisco Sour if you want to be even more international. I don't drink beer either and want to smack that Michelob out of their hands for thinking they're living the commercial. But have you actually tried any of those drinks I mentioned? Made by a good bartender of course. They're so classic I've had my tab come back with "Old timer drink x3" before and the bartender and I just started laughing about it versus the fresh grads who had no damn clue while throwing back well margaritas or Michelobs at twice the rate instead of savoring a properly made  good tasting beverage.
