Three months of gardening leave - what to do? Interesting courses and bootcamps?

Hello there -

Through fortunate circumstances, I have three months of gardening leave ahead of myself.

While I've already planned the usual backpacking trip plus set up an exercise schedule, I wanted to get smart in an area which I have overlooked (or only briefly touched) in the past.

Maybe, a few years ago, the natural answer would have been to learn a new language or enrolled in a coding camp. Nowadays, with ChatGPT vX around the corner, I am not so sure anymore!

Which structured courses, online degrees or simply areas have you been impressed with more recently? Or did you start a side hustle? How did you guys filled your gardening leave with something meaningful?

I am really looking forward to your recommendations and thoughts!

Thank you!

what makes you think that ChatGPT wouldn't be labeled as an old 'trend' in some years and become irrelevant? Also, with ChaptGPT helping us with technical aspects of our jobs, I think that there's a bigger argument to embrace social skills - one of those being (surprise) foreign languages.

Anyway, I'll just take this time to do things that I've put off for a while, prioritize wellness (exercise, diet, nature, etc.), read some dense books, and travel to a minimum of 5 places abroad. I'll avoid everything that would make me remember work. But that's just me. Your priorities may differ.
