Top 25 Companies with Highest Paying Internships in the United States
Glassdoor just released a list of the top 25 highest paying internships. Now it's important to know that the median monthly salaries were calculated based on internships in the entire company - regardless of specific function.

Facebook tops the charts with $8000 median monthly earnings. Most of the companies on the list are tech companies. The highest paying finance firm on the list is BlackRock with a median of $5400 monthly earnings. Surprisingly Goldman and other investment banks didn't make the list - the main reason of this is probably because the median takes into account Back Office and Middle Office roles, not just front-office. I'm sure there also many companies not on the list because of insufficient data - all companies on these list have thousands of employees. Internship salaries don't matter too much in the scheme of one's career and may not reflect full-time earning potential but it still goes to show Silicon Valley is willing to pay more to capture talent.
What do you monkeys think?
I am surprised that the Big4 didn't make it up there. During the busy season, the Tax interns make $29 + x1.5 OT and they work 60-70hr weeks. ~$5500-6200 monthly.
