Pebble, Oakmont, Augusta, Manele, and the Fuji one. Also Kidnappers and Kaori (spelling?) seem nice. I'm more in it for the views than than the quality/challenge of the course for the most part.
Also want to play the one at The Country Club in Brookline just because I always thought that place was kinda neat.
It might be helpful to have two lists, one fantasy list and a realistic list.Fantasy (Better meet a member and suck up or save their life): Augusta, Cypress Point, Pine Valley, Shinnecock Hills, Sand HillsRealistic: Cape Kidnappers, Old Course, Teeth of Dog, Pebble Beach, Ballybunion
You really should, it's awesome. Even had a pro (trying to break into the LPGA) caddying for us!
Got on through membership in the Eden Club. Essentially a concierge service onto the best courses in the world through its member network. Also have an amazingly luxurious residence (an old castle haha) based just outside St. Andrews. Can easily get you onto all the top courses in the area, played all the Scottish courses I mentioned above when staying there. Check them out: https://www.theedenresidenceclub.org/aboutus

Augusta & St Andrews Old
Augusta was far more playable then i thought it would be... have not played St A
Shinnecock, oakmont, pebble beach, seminole , merion (already played)
good list.... Seminole is on my list as well...
I have played all the others and shinny is fun, oakmont is beyond tough but fair..
Bandon Dunes
+1
its on my list... sheep ranch looks good
Cypress, Augusta, Seminole, Tara Iti, Cape Kidnappers. Obvs a ton in British Isles but a little more realistic in terms of access
Tara Iti looks beyond good

Brookline is gonna be a great major host
The Country Club, Augusta, Pebble, The Ocean Course, Bellerive
Augusta, Cypress Point, Old Course, Pine Valley, Cape Kidnappers
Cypress escapes me... I like PV better than ANGC
ANGC, Winged foot, Seminole, Shoal Creek, and Camargo solely because of the par 3’s.
Camargo may be the best SR out there.... Fishers has better views but Camargo has better land and the par 3s are the best of any SR I have played
Piping, Deepdale, National
Long Island killer!!!!!!!!!!!
I’ve played a few of the ones mentioned here and they are fantastic.
I would like to play Pinehurst No. 2
Augusta, Riviera CC, Seminole, Payne's Valley, St. Andrews, Pebble
solid list

Agree with this. Augusta, Cypress, Pine Valley, National, SFGC, etc. are obvious bucket list courses.
Gettable courses I've yet to play: Carne, Yeamans Hall, Tara Iti, Camargo, Quaker Ridge
Cool courses I've played that I haven't seen mentioned here yet: Whistling Straits, Oak Hill, Pasatiempo, Olympic Club, Southampton
Honestly, most of Ireland and Scotland are on my bucket list...
.
I think anyone in finance that is an avid golfer, VP and higher will have a shot at most top 50 clubs
I hope you’re right.
Wrong - you need to be a legacy to get into most of these clubs.
think he means just to play, which would be right
in terms of actually becoming a member - youre pretty much spot on
to join yes.... you need some help but to play.... its not nearly as hard as people make it out to be
played d1 golf in college and played some pretty nice courses before but top 5 would be augusta, pebble, chambers bay, st andrews old course, oakmont
CB is good...... I liked it very much
Augusta
Pebble
Cypress
Olympic Club
Merion
Nanea in HI is best I've played in the US, King's Barns/St Andrews Old/St Andrews New/Carnoustie/The Island/The European Club abroad
Nanea is a tough get... nice work on that.... I would like to play it one day
