Top institutions with no cutlery/cups/plates

A colleague of mine recently told me that there is no cutlery, cups, or plates at a GS office (he/she is currently working there) in one of Europe’s financial hubs. It’s the same for Deloitte NL, but one would expect that from them, along with KPMG. Out of curiosity, do you know of any other prestigious institutions where basic items aren’t provided? What do you think is the reason behind this?
