Hey monkeys, came across this website Trading Pit History. It has a bunch of detailed info and interesting stuff about floor trading and traders at the CBOT and the Merc. The guy that runs the blog was a former trader at the KBOT and CBOT. Also does anyone have any good stories about the CBOT or CME?

Watch the movie Floored, it is a documentary about the demise of the pit from the pit trader view. I always thought trading in the pit would be an awesome job. When I was in school I was speaking with an old soybean traded and he said that success relied on being tall and able to yell.
