That is not how the law works. You do not get to commit assault even if some asks you to do it. If someone asked you to shoot them and you did, you would likely be going to prison. She has a legal document called a restraining order detailing all of the allegations. A court has to grant a restraining order. The dude apparently committed sodomy while she was unconscious. He basically committed rape and assault.
The texts indicate 1.) She wanted to be choked and 2.) She was rendered unconscious during the first encounter and wanted to be rendered unconscious again. In fact, she admits being rendered unconscious was one of the best sexual experiences of her life. That's what I know. You can discuss the SEMANTICS of the law but the fact is this chic was prepared and asking to be choked out.

The dude committed assault and raped the woman while unconscious. A text chain with dirty talk does justify committing these crimes. For all you know, she could have been drunk or on drugs when she was texting. Even if she was sober, he does not have to commit rape or assault. These crimes ARE punishable by jail time.

Psychopath is probably is a good way to describe him. He has a history of weird shit, including harassing women. He also has a record of supporting anti-semitic garbage. The dude has legally committed multiple felonies and does not deny it. The Dodgers, MLB, and prosecutors will conduct investigations, which will likely lead to an indictment, as long the lady wants to go through with it.

He has already admitted that the events happened. Apparently his defense that it is okay to punch a women in the face/fracture her skull and to sodomize her while she is unconscious if she talks dirty in a text. That is his definition of consent.

Trevor Bauer can't be fixed. The dude does not belong in society.
MLB put Bauer on leave while they investigate and while the Pasadena police department continues to conduct its criminal investigation. I doubt that he pitches again for the Dodgers because as far as I remember, this is the worse incident in the history of MLB. Contributing to the bat shit crazy nature of this incident, the dude has shown no remorse publicly. He thinks he did nothing wrong. He is a psychopath and a threat to society.
MLB issued a two year suspension without pay, which is its longest by far for this type of issue. Bauer will appeal the suspension. He is probably never going to pitch in MLB again.
