"Trigger Warnings" Documentary and Schools

I watched the Netflix docu-series "Trigger Warning" by Killer Mike from the rap group Run the jewels.

(You can skip the part below, to my TL:DR, it's background for my comment)

-years ago randomly came across Run the Jewels, liked their music -loosely followed them -Killer Mike was recently on Joe Rogan's podcast; heard about the show, and I decided to give it a watch. -Show is ~70% good, goes off the rail at some points, but I'd give it a watch

TL:DR--> I started watching the Trigger Warning docu-series.

In one episode, Killer Mike talks about reforming schools and how we shouldn't be teaching kids to have dreams and just "think", but to teach applicable skills. For example, skills that people will pay for like plumbing, being a lawyer or accountant.

My question/discussion is, do you think what is being taught in school should be shaken up? If yes, how so. Specifically, should different career path options be taught, and do you think there should be courses that take a banking angle.

If it were me, I would definitely incorporate classes in personal finance/budgeting, how to invest properly, coding, basic home repair, and if I could a class on banking careers.
