Trump and Elon similarities to First Triumvirate? (Julius Caesar, Crassus, Pompey)

So in this scenario I would liken Trump to Caesar (similar populist methodologies, although I don't really like this comparison) and Musk to Crassus (richest person in their respective societies, although it can be argued that Pompey became richer after defeating Mithridates). In this scenario, who would be Pompey, and who would be the senate/Cicero? Given the controversy surrounding the election, could this lead to a significant change in American politics akin to the upheaval of the Republic? Pls let me know your thoughts

Well, Pompey was in his prime prior to Caesar entering the stage. Pompey had an uneven alliance (originally a rivalry) with Crassus.

He had a best frenemies relationship with Caesar, it failed, and he ultimately became his biggest antagonist, even joining with his former rivals (Cato, Cicero) against Caesar when the time came.

Obama? Romney?

Cicero is too unique of a cat for contemporary comparison.

Honestly props - triumvirate literally means "three men" but it's the one thing you know about the Roman Empire so you didn't let it stop you from posting this. You also could have thought of literally any male military/political figure to fill in the Pompey slot (it's not like your Crassus and Caesar comps are so rock solid that like, Benjamin Netanyahu would be doing them a disservice). Just thinking out loud and firing it into the ether when you're 2/3rds of the way done.
