This is bad. It normalizes debate abstinence and will give Biden an excuse to not debate Trump in the General.

Reagan skipped the first GOP debate in 1980. It's a long time to 11/2024.
Look, Trump is gonna win the nomination and there's nothing that's really going to change that. DeSantis needs to put his ego aside and take the VP nomination. A Trump/Desantis ticket would landslide Joe Biden and set up DeSantis for a perfect 2028 run.
