Trump Punishes Americans & Threatens War Because He Didn't Get Participation Trophy

Reports today are that Trump sent Norway's Prime Minister a message claiming that after he wasn't awarded a Nobel Peace Prize for "stopping 8 wars," which of course is a nonsense claim, he no longer felt “an obligation to think purely of Peace."

Two days ago, he threatened Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and Finland with 10% tariffs for not letting the United States "buy" Greenland. These are our closest allies, and of course, the only people that will suffer from this are Americans, who will have to pay 10% higher prices on goods from these countries.

The market is shit today. Futures are down. Who does any of this shit help? Why in the hell would the United States need to buy or invade Greenland when Denmark is already a strategic partner? How pathetic is this senile old clown for still whining about not winning a Nobel Peace Prize? What are we even doing here?

Actually underselling it. It’s a 10% tariff with a threat for it to increase to 25% by summer.

It’s almost like imperiling NATO plays right into both Russia and China's hands. Multiple formerly staunch US allies have now turned to China for help.

And that’s not even getting into European countries owning some $8 trillion of US bonds and equities
