Two Roommates from Different Banks Living Together

Hey All,

I just wanted to reach out to get some feedback on something I've been curious about. I figured some of the older bankers would know this. My roommate from college and I will be living together next year working for two different BBs in two different industry groups. Is this type of thing kosher in the eyes of my employer? I'm obviously not going to do anything stupid. Will this create some amount of tension in the work place or will the likely not give a shit. Thanks.

There is no need to talk shop while you hang out, but you keep the talk kosher when talking business. Most people don't give two shits about who you share a flat with.

I live with someone who is an auditor and services the SAME industry group as me. She audits the same exact companies we are pitching to.
