Understanding Greece's debt restructuring (and the bond market)

I've been reading about the whole Greek debt restructuring that's going on, and find it pretty fascinating. However, my knowledge of the bond market and of debt restructuring is minimal.

Anyone has any links to articles, or book recommendations that I could read to get a deeper understanding of this area?

If you have a subscription to the economist, they produced some really good articles on the subject.

They (Greece) are changing out their current bonds for longer term bonds with lower interest rates and also requiring creditors to take a "Haircut"

The big question is now with the CDS activated what type of contagion could come from it.

"For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?"
