Is the dollar going to hurt? Yes. Is it going anywhere? I don't think so. This guy's argument seemed pretty compelling, quick 8min rundown of why purely from the perspective of currency supply to grease the wheels of global commerce that the US is more or less untouchable. It wasn't a fluke that the USD became the world reserve currency, and barring a global conflict on the scale of WWII that's not likely to be challenged anytime soon.
