Going to the open this weekend.

The women’s draw is very unpredictable and getting increasingly so with half of the top 8 seeds out already — but if I had to pick a final match-up I’d maybe go with Swiatek-Andreescu. Swiatek seems to have hit her stride again, and Andreescu looked comfortable in her first two matches. Then again, I could be way off base and we’ll end up with a Collins-Tomljanovic final.

On the men’s side, Medvedev is a favorite in my eyes — unless Kyrgios exceeds expectations like he did @ Wimbledon. Another player to keep an eye on (both in USO and the future) might be Jack Draper. He’s had a pretty good year so far and might have the game to go places.

I think Medvedev is the most likely outcome as well. Not a big fan of Kyrgios but I could see him winning as well. Frankly I hope Nadal pulls through, he and Federer were my favorites when I watched tennis growing up

Agreed, would love to see Nadal win. A big unknown here is what’s going on in his personal life w/ his wife’s pregnancy. They’re saying he might fly home if he needs to be there for his wife.

Also, the Medvedev-Wu match tomorrow should be an interesting one to watch.
