Virtual Charter Schools/Private Schools

What do you guys think about the rise of virtual charter schools/private schools for kids?

Anyone have experience with these or opinions? Any idea on the outlook for the future?

Will this allow the children of remote workers, or parents who move a lot, stability in their education?

Does anyone think the quality of these will ever be good?

Personally, I think the idea of a self-paced virtual school might allow my kid to advance faster and cover more subjects with greater flexibility. However there is the aspect of campus involvement that is lacking. Thoughts?
