Volunteering Ideas
While I'm sure we can all appreciate slinging numbers and putting together pitchdecks, I've been wanting to get out of the office and do something that helps others.
I'm at a relatively small firm and I'm sure they'd be supportive of a volunteer program (don't have one currently) but I'd really love to do it solo.
Despite others' experience in the industry, I'm usually free half the day Saturday and the whole day Sunday, barring intense deal flow. What are some good non-profits / volunteer programs that I could get involved with?
Note: I like animals but I want to help humans. Any ideas?

I like the idea of the big brother programs. Amazing way in my mind to make a direct and meaningful impact in someone’s life.
Though I’d imagine you’d really have to be committed, aware, and thoughtful for something like this. As you are now playing a big role in a young mans life to a certain extent.
