Trying to plan a post-grad europe trip. Classes end the last week of april but commencement isn't til the end of May. I start work end of July.
Should I do a 2.5 month uninterrupted trip? One month, come back for graduation, then another month? Or chill until commencement then travel after?
In other words, will I regret not walking at commencement?
Gonna be different for everyone but I couldn't even tell you one memory from my college graduation day. Only went because it meant a lot to my parents.
I shook hands with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff graduation day. I got to hear a very motivating speech before I went out into the world.
I think it all depends on how good your commencement speaker is and how badly you want to get graduation day photos.
If the speaker is mediocre and you don’t care about graduation photos and family photos, then maybe you can skip it.
