Wall Street status symbols

Hi!

I read this article on Business Insider about Wall St. status symbols and it said that items such as a Hermés tie and a pair of Ferragamo loafers are ones. Do you agree, are these really considered as such? If yes, then could you do some sort of an list of items/ things that are considered as status symbols.

For example (what I´d expect): Mercedes-Benz (S, CLS, and all AMG), Rolex?!, Patek Philippe, AP RO, Ferragamo loafers, Hermés belt and tie.. etc.

Thanks!

Bone, with a lettering called Silian Rail.

Or, if you are a nitwit, you can choose Eggshell with Romalian type.

Hand one to the host at Dorsia as you reserve your spot for a double dosage of luxury.

Hi! (gag me)

Wow, I forgot that Hermes ties were once a thing. You must be a time traveler who accidentally ventured into our modern day, pre-Apocalyptic society. How is the weather there in 1999? Must be great, what with the lack of global warming and/or threat of imminent mass extinction, and all. It's maybe about 85 degrees here but, given the 284% humidity, the weather app says that it feels like just a few degrees cooler than the MOLTEN CORE OF THE SUN.

You want to know what symbols comprise status nowadays? A tan. Time to go to the bathroom. A dry shirt, because only peasants take public transportation or need traverse greater than half a block on their own feet. And can't forget slicked back hair, because, hey!, douchebaggery.

If it's a status symbol, then you have no business wearing it as a junior banker....because you haven't earned that yet.

Was going to have a relaxing night, but then I read this post. Now I need a drink. A strong one. More than one, most likely.
