Hey guys,
i want to install home alarm system in my home but i don't know more then about this. i need to 24 hour security service provided in San Diego CA. Not sure what I need. I have a pretty small budget I have been having trouble trying to find a good CCTV. Which camera brand is more cost-effective in San Diego. Like - Pioneer Security or Champion Security please give some suggestion of Commercial Security System

What is the reason you want it? For a sense of security, to deter theft, or for more serious reasons?
Tier 1: Get fake security cameras (20$), a home alarm sticker on your window as well as another sticker that says "proud gun owner, ready and armed!", and a sign that says beware of dog Tier 2: Just get an alarm system and pay the monthly fees. I think a bunch come with deals for security cameras now Tier 3: No clue about any good CCTV
Depending on why you want the security system, it can cause more harm than good.For some it provides a sense of security, for others it makes you more paranoid/worried.
Obviously if you have had serious issues with crime/personal danger ignore everything I have said.

There should be some good companies posted on homeadvisor's list. Have you checked it out already? Some people would say that you can implement it without any help. It's true but the chances to implement it the wrong way are pretty high. It's better to call the professionals in this case, but not every company in our region has the true specialists. I've dealt with some idiots from security companies before who don't even know the basic systems. That's why good companies always implement background check systems to hire only qualified employees. At least, I read such info on sterlingcheck.co.uk that provides background check services. Anyway, I the majority of companies have already implemented this system.
But why do you need a company for that? It's easy to install everything on your own. Follow the guides on youtube.

A good alarm would be a very nervous and yappy small dog that barks at any minor sound e.g., rescue chihuahua or dachshund
Here's a good suggestion. Buy Ring and Blink off of Amazon and install yourself. Cheaper, easier, and better.
Yeah Ring is solid. You pay a fixed price for the hardware, which isn’t too expensive and works reliably, and you can pay another $15/month (I think) if you want a Ring employee to handle the situation if an alarm goes off.

We wanted to buy American products (made in the US), but apparently every single safety camera is produced in China. No way to buy a locally produced one.
These are easy to install, but local installers will absolutely help you with it without any problems.
If you decided on getting a security system or a CCTV as they are also called, I really recommend you to get a cheap set of cameras, maybe you have some old ones and I also recommend you to get AJAX system, it's worth it! they can update your old cameras and give them a second life and it gives you full control on your cell phone of all the cameras that you got installed, I really like it, I've been using it for years! The also have this cool motion sensors and the battely lasts for 7 years or more.
