Take it day by day at this point. I am just holding my breath.....a depression....too much to consider...If another monster falls...the only thing I know is before Bear, I would have said forget it but now...with Leh on the ropes too..yikes
How bad can Lehman be, considering that every transaction by Lehman can be backed by the Fed beginning March 27th?
I'm probably missing something, so tell me.
Starting with all the sub-prime stuff last year, lots of people thought we were heading into a recession. Recent events just confirm its severity.
BTW, friend at a large tech company just told me about big layoffs there... it's spreading beyond financial services...
i think it will be the deepest recession since the great depression. i'm still on the fence as to whether it will wind up being eventually classified as a depression.
