Someone on here recommended I get this, I thankfully maxed out my FSA and got a dr's note to expense it. It's amazing

Get dr_mantistoboggan_MD or someone to write you a note and you're golden. It can be like that Seinfeld episode where they get a note from Jerry's dentist for physical therapy massages.

I love it, I took it to my parents’ since I didn’t want to keep dismantling it and moving it back and forth, and I regret not just doing that since my old chair sucks so much. I will say though, the version I got had a pole that was too long (I’m around 6ft for reference) so I had to get one of the shorter/middle pole length options (I’m not sure how long it was).

So this is expensive, but I find the Herman Miller embody chair to be excellent. It is solid for taller people (although not sure if tall for you is a bit above 6 ft or you are talking about a 7 footer) and has a fair bit of adjustments you can make. I prefer this chair to the aeron. Keep in mind that you can’t adjust the position of the lumbar support in the embody chair, and it has a higher back so if spending that much on a chair I’d sit in them (preferably work in one for a day if at all possible).
