What are you doing today?

Random, but it's friday, I'm bored, and I think it could be interesting to see what different people are up to. So, what are you doing today?

Hah, I'm calling amusement parks and asking them if they would be interested in a lease that only goes into effect in the event of a major natural disaster or terrorist attack. I think I'm scaring people.

After work will be a typical happy hour I'm sure

Cool.

I am:

-Formatting/preparing a few CRM sheets to be uploaded. -Reclassifying a few (thousand) Municipal Bonds in our system. -Usual recon and whatnot with our institutional site - making sure our new report format looks pretty -Calling various custodial bros to iron out historic data feed files while shooting darts -Re-performing some data analytics for an ultra-preftigious west coast asset manager... got some proprietary data-points I am tooling around with -Contacting various bros regarding the above -Spending too much time on WSO

After work I'll probably paddle out a mile or so into Long Island sound while it's still light out. After that, I will probably have some drinks with my girlfriend.

I would agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

Indeed i am....definitely a great atmosphere to run around, but i try to get there before the masses of pink hats roll in for a game. in that instance, its like being a NFL running back.

I have my 23rd bday tonight, and my Dad happens to be in town on business (haven't seen any family members since Christmas, so I'm very much looking forward to him being in town), so he's taking me out to my favorite steak house, where we will catch up and play a game of 'how many martinis does he have to down before he agrees to buy me the new set of Taylormade's I've had my eye on for my bday.'

Then going out with my friends and drinking like it's my third 21st.

I would agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

Watching golf, discussing said golf event with a Partner and going over the merits of summer fridays (every other friday off in summer) given last year "jackshit got acomplised on Friday's" (his words not mine)

To be honest I am only here because I get free lunch. Only 5 of 18 ppl here (3 jr's, myself included, and 2 partners). Back to CT tonight to get the last of my things out of my house before closing.

Trying not to throw up and taking way too many advil while staring at the computer screen doing nothing. Tonight probably drinking way too much, striking out while trying to get laid, blacking out, and somehow making it home without remembering how I got there.

Studying for finals, bought a few more CT shirts, reading the latest Barron's, and starting to pack up my apartment. About the most boring weekend of college you could have.

Get used to it. Real life weekends consist of me sleeping, being in a half-awake coma state, and then debating if I actually want to take the effort to go out or if laying in bed playing video games and then falling asleep again sounds better lol

Sifting through documents which are sent to our current office and need to be switched and sent to our soon to be office in a completely different city.

Tonight I'll be hitting the gym after work and then face down in Level 2 studying until I head out for some drinks with coworkers.

Same shit different day here.. Nothing special at all.

Modeling Gerdau Ameristeel for next week's meetings (steel distributors, scrapyards, then mgmt in HQ), seems cheap so far but hey steel can always get cheaper nowadays. In a bit I'll start surveying market contacts to refine convictions on how to position for the weekend. Probably won't change anything, then off for a drink or ten.

Chilling in the New Hampshire. Just finished my status meeting for the week so killing time until I can leave to buy some tax-free liquor and catch my flight home. My older brother is in Chicago this weekend so we're going to meet up and rage this weekend. I also have to return some videotapes.

i went out drinking last night and have been hung over for most of the day. i've been going out in complete rage mode almost every weekend, and so i just want to relax tonight... maybe do some laundry, start studying for the GMAT, tidy up around the house. this may change if anybody calls me up to hang out... which i hope doesn't happen at this point.

Damn I wanna do that. Mt. Tam would be gnarly though. Question, what do you do to know you're in the right gear? And my manhood was killing me after I got off the bike.. what should I do to protect my future children?

After the office I worked out at Xclusive and once home made obscene phone calls to young Dalton girls, the numbers I chose coming from the register I stole a copy of from the administration office when I broke in last Thursday night. “I’m a corporate raider,” I whispered lasciviously into the cordless phone. “I orchestrate hostile takeovers. What do you think of that?” and I would pause before making sucking noises, freakish piglike grunts, and then ask, “Huh, bitch?” Most of the time I could tell they were frightened and this pleased me greatly, enabled me to maintain a strong, pulsing erection for the duration of the phone calls, until one of the girls, Hilary Wallace, asked, unfazed, “Dad, is that you?” and whatever enthusiasm I’d built up plummeted.

Happy hour after European close. Due to half of EU being closed on Thursday, most of the trading floor took Friday off. Ordered up a few cases of wine, beer and food from the inhouse caterer. Decided it would be fun to crash an alumni party for my old school. What a circle jerking contest that was....
