Ok, so dumb question, but where I went to school nobody had a blackberry. Now I've been issued one by my bank and there's probably a bunch of cool stuff that I can do with it but I don't really know anything about it, except how to use my email and phone. Are there any cool applications that you guys put on your blackberrys? How about music/video? I have an 8700, if that matters...

Career Resources
The blackberry can do a lot of cool stuff, but my IT department has disabled a lot of it.
First, there is brickbreaker, the standard game on every blackberry. You can waste a lot of time with that.
Next, get full use of your data plan. You can use your blackberry to get weather and sports updates. The main blackberry page has some links to some cool add-ins. Your IT department will determine what you can/cannot do.
Also, know your blackberry short-cuts like you know your excel shortcuts. The RIM homepage has some good tips. I.e to type a webpage, a space is assumed to be a dot.
Similarly, with e-mail, the first space will be assumed as an @ sign, the second space will be a dot.
Got the 8700 too. It seems to be a standard issue blackberry with most banks. the scroll wheel is great for getting through e-mails quickly, but I really like the trackball with the newer blackberries (pearl, curve).
If you're a girl, you can stick it in your underwear and just put it on vibrate.
