What everyday items would you recommend everybody should own?
What items do you find yourself using that improve your quality of life? I am making a list of stuff to keep an eye out to buy as gifts for the upcoming holiday season.
AirPods Pro - I use mine 40+ hours / week
High quality bedsheets & pillows
Air fryer / toaster oven: quicker to heat food
6ft+ charging cable for phone
Sound system for television (subwoofer key)
Safety razor + brush for shaving
Nice auto toothbrush w small head
Nice sunglasses
I made a topic a while back about splurges that were worth it - this topic is more for those everyday items, regardless of price, that improve your daily life.

Condoms, I still remember that one time when I didn't have one on me and missed out on some pu$$y. Now I always carry one in my wallet.
At that point Plan B is Plan A
Dude I just legit laughed out loud for like 2 minutes lol. Thank you. No SB because I can't afford it but well done.
I'm sure your ears love that
Airpods emit a crazy amount of EMF radiation. It's literally like strapping a wifi router over both your ears.

It's a lot less of a problem with over-the-ear or any other device where the bluetooth is outside the ear canal.
Also, it may not even be an issue inside the ear canal, but that's where there's more debate.
If noise cancellation is the main interest in airpods, I recommend custom-molded buds with wires. They'll block noise better than the airpods. Not quite as good as the best over-ear noise cancelers (from Bose/Sony/Apple) but very good for in-ear. It's a little chore because you have to get molds done at the audiologist, but worth it.
I would recommend a Yogibo Traybo or any sort of laptop tray/desk. Makes working from your laptop while sitting on the couch 10x better.

Interesting - I personally only work at my desk and don't carry my laptop anywhere other than work, but I know people who do move around so this could be a good gift
- Oversize headphones for the gym
- Shockz Swimming bone conduction headphones
- Wahoo Tickr X chest HR strap
- Garmin fenix watch

I've been thinking of tracking my workouts from a more data-driven perspective (other than sets reps). As I continue to cut I think this will be a good addition to my workouts in order to stay on the path
Use Strava - all my workouts automatically upload to there from my Garmin watch.

Use Trainingpeaks. Strava is gay as fuck, too many attention whores
Agree on the Fenix. Game changing purchase for any serious athlete (or anyone seeking to improve their health).
How do you deal with the headphones not being sweat proof. Just replace them a lot?
I use Skullcandy Hesh 2 Wireless oversize headphones for the gym and I sweat a lot and they haven't broken. They are only $52 on Amazon so if they broke I wouldn't be too concerned.
The Shokz swimming headphones are waterproof. I use those for swimming and cycling.

- Anything Vuori/Lulu/Alo. Maybe expensive but so comfy.
- Vegetable chopper. Makes prep so much easier.
- Furry moccasins for chillin around the house.
- High quality computer camera.
- Spotify premium.
- Tommy Bahama chairs for beach.
- Wallet case for cellphone. Life is easier not having to worry about two items.
- Tile for keys. Maybe only use a few times but they are a life saver. I also keep my airpods on my keys so I have the major items covered (can call phone with tile or tile on keychain with phone)
- Steamer for clothes
- A lot of crest white stripes. Seriously such an easy and cheap way to improve your appearance.
Tile is very interesting - didn't know that existed. Thanks for all the great suggestions
I strongly disagree on the wallet case cell phone
if you lose 1, you lose both and you're mega fucked then
Yeah good point.

Complement with tile and you're less likely to lose phone permanently. I just have my phone that carries my id and one credit card. Apple Pay works in most places too
been really thinking about getting a steamer, do you have any recommendations?
Quant (ˈkwänt) n: An expert, someone who knows more and more about less and less until they know everything about nothing.
I've only tried one but imagine they are all similar since at its core all it needs to do is produce steam. Maybe shoot for one with more water storage capacity so you aren't refilling often.
Bruh who does not already pay for spotify premium lol
I don't trust any individual that is listening to ads between their favorite songs, would be a psycho move
Agreed. Best 10 bucks I spend a month.

"If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them." - Bruce Lee
The first uses of the word are actually 'duck tape'. It started with an adhesive added to strips of duck cloth, and only later adopted the name 'duct tape' when it was used extensively to wrap duct work. You can check out the wikipedia article on it, it's pretty interesting actually.
Got any dutch oven receipes?
Google "Dutch Oven" "Serious Eats" and you'll get some good ones.
I also use it to bake bread.
You're southern, so you probably own one already, but if not the Staub ones come with exchangeable animal shaped knobs and are cheaper.

Interesting topic.
1. Legit best item I have purchased in the last few years - bidet attachment for my commodes. I don't know how I lived so many years without using one of these things. Seriously, best $50 I've ever spent.
