What is a "man cave"?
Is it just me or is that some feminist bullshit invention spawned during the 60's??? If I have a house, it's my castle. Every speck of dust is mine. Building a separate room of "seclusion" from the wife so as not to disturb her is beyond ridiculous.

The point of a man cave isn't so you don't disturb your wife. It is so she doesn't disturb you.

The man cave is a sacred place. Anything can happen in the man cave, and not leave the man cave. Think of it as a local Vegas escape. Want to blow lines like you did in college? Man cave is ready for you. Want to play video games until 4 AM because the new version of CoD or Battlefront just came out? Feel free, and while you're at it turn the volume way up.
On a real note, man caves are just a great place to hang out and do guy things. Video games, sports, escape from your wife, etc.
The man cave is where cuckholded husbands retreat to ponder their worthless existence. *side note I have friends who have "man caves" I don't think any less of them.
Could not agree more with the OP, the house is your "cave". If you want anything at all like a "Man Cave" get a study, class that shit up. The Study does not preclude a television and a bar, albeit not a huge tv and mostly drinks like scotch, bourbon, and whiskey. Even better if the bar is in one of those globes that opens.
