thanks - i thought i sounded like a smug bumbling idiot and i kept looking down but was really one of my first video interviews in a while, so will cut myself some slack (weird sitting in a tiny room with bright lights shining down on you and staring into a black screen with a camera behind it).

The good part is they thought it was interesting, so should be able to do more in future to get WSO more exposure...in particular, I think I will try to get back on to reveal some trends once the 2014 WSO Compensation Report is done (currently in the works)...

I'm just curious - why is investment banking still the go-to face of Wall Street, like when you answered the question of what is the comp on Wall street these days. Are there more investment bankers than ER or S&T guys on the street?

Congrats Patrick!

I thought it was a good interview and you represented the site extremely well.

You did look down a little bit, but I don't think it was all that bad. You showed some personality as a commentator and communicated the situation on wall street effectively.

I don't think you're going to be getting calls from CNBC to be a regular pundit, but I'd grade this interview no worse than a B+.

Thanks man, much appreciated. I'll do better next time. I'll also have more hard #s and interesting stats to give next time which I think will go over well...

@"duffmt6", i think i was nervous as well :-) -- I usually sit at home in my cave and work with my small team over skype. I actually had to trim my crazy beard and wear pants...very weird experience for me.

I was nervous for Patrick while watching that but thought he did a great job. It seemed like the interviewer did some solid prep beforehand too.

Stryfe:

In the opening WSO animation it looks like the banker is rubbing the girl in the green shirt's boob while they're at the bar

Hahahaha

One of my class required us to video tape ourselves giving a speech. We then had to watch it. It is absolutely brutal -- makes you appreciate how tough it is to perform while the camera is rolling.

Solid interview. She definitely kept pushing for pay on Wall Street. Great job handling some of the tougher questions like "bottles & models".
