Yea... I no longer look forward to weekends. I go home, work out, eat, study and its bed time.

You probably have mountains of materials on CFA2 but don't overlook accounting and Derivatives. Pension accounting is disgusting and the other topics arn't too easy either. It might be because I don't have background in accounting or derivatives but hit those early so you can hit them one more time before the exam.

"GingerGuy" What side passion projects are you guys working on?

I'll kick us off, I'm in the process of learning R and its applications to trading so that I can build my own trading algorithm.

This is what I'm working on as well, but a word of caution: this is a long, winding road, and R is just a shiny object you find at the beginning of the journey. Have no hope, ye who enters...

Oh I'm sure, I've only just started applying it, my first finance application was for my statistics class. I plotted change in EPS against stock price to try and prove a correlation for an assignment. Pretty basic use but I can already see it's an incredibly powerful tool, and also just read about Hadoop and that's already another can of worms, good to be learning though.

Focus on technique, look at pro boxers and try to emulate them. I've seen guys train for like 2 years and still have horrible technique. You can always apply power whenever you want.

I get what you are alluding to, but as someone who was in the amateur system for 10 years plus, emulating someone like Lomachenko, Pernell Whitaker or prime RJJ is easier said than done. I would just focus on the fundamentals – crisp punches, head movement and footwork.
