Many of us probably have horror stories at work. For me my worst day was at my first job before I even lateraled into banking. I was working terrible hours and making no money with no benefits. I was still living in Miami and all my friends were going to a tailgate and I had to work that Saturday. Worked the whole day and couldn't figure out how to finish the project I was working on and had to present it on Monday. Never felt more stressed in my life and hated that I was missing out on being with my friends. My boss was a jerk to me, and I left a few months later.
My worst day in banking was probably a few weeks into when I first joined my team. I still had no idea what I was doing but was expected to get something done by a deadline. I remember working all night and watching the sun come up and still didn't finish what I was supposed to. I went into my meeting expecting to get chewed out and it ended up not being a big deal at all and an Associate showed me how to finish the thing in 30 minutes. Good times.
