What's stopping you from achieving your dreams?

Are you afraid to begin? Are the obstacles too numerous? Are you already engaged in it?

I've finally gotten back to working on my small business and manufacturing some new products for it. I was afraid that if I got sick, I wouldn't be able to work as hard as I could. I got the idea to start over after seeing a business owner who had the same illnesses but found a way to manage them. I'm more driven than ever to succeed in my business!

Every day's important. In the grand scheme of things, some may be more important than others, but everyday you live you have a choice to how you live. Sure, you have the daily toils of life, but can you not map out achieving your dream during these times? Can you not think on the thinking throne of what your plans are and what you may do within the next hours, days or weeks to get you towards achieving your goals?

You may not be achieving your dreams, guy, but you're already following your dreams. Are you not also your own boss? Is making music not something you enjoy?

How do you define success? If you don't know how to be successful how can you tel you're already not? You see where I am going with this?

Focus on the process, that must be what's making you happy, right? Set big realistic and measurable goals, but don't miss the forest for the trees.

I'm trying to find a new job right now because the company I started was basically a failure (I couldn't sell the product).

I am following my music making dreams yes I have put out a lot of songs since starting the project a couple months ago, I want to take it more seriously though and I am struggling to figure out how to make the project more successful from a monthly listeners on Spotify point of view (that is how I would define success and my 100ish monthly listeners would tell me that I am not successful). yes making the music is fun but one thing that you might not realize is that if my project was more successful commercially then it would be easier to attract other people to want to work on the project with me. I am just doing the singing on the songs and don't want to do anything else, so in order to have stuff to work on singing wise (which I enjoy doing) and put out more songs, I have to find other people who want to collaborate with me which has been insanely difficult to do, like a borderline insurmountable challenge that I have somehow figured out how to surmount up to this point on a small scale but like to just put it out there I am spending money to get my next 4 songs done, I am paying some guys to create instrumentals that fit 4 songs that I already had vocals recorded for from previous demos. I would rather not have to continue to pay to get more songs done as I don't have infinite money, this is just something that I am doing to get a higher quality product out and because the guys I'm making the music with for the 4 songs are very skilled and so the songs will sound badass. I'm basically just trying to say that if I already had a successful project I wouldn't have to try out for an almost infinite amount of projects with people who end up not wanting to work with me or I wouldn't have to pay people to want to make music with me, I would be able to attract a more stable group of collaborators/other artists would want to collaborate with me.
