Whats the feasibility of constructing a rental complex as a not for profit?
I have been thinking about this for a few years. The plan is to construct a building to serve local communities by providing housing that is affordable with an aim to attract "outsiders." Ideally these rentals would be filled with low risk tenants and there would be no corrupt practices by management, upper or lower.
I am aiming for the LLBean of housing, its not as fashionable but it will last. With a just a touch of Zara, fashion forward at a reasonable price. I want to build a 2018 Camry not a BMW.
If its feasible I'd like to start looking into things a bit more and play around a with a few different ideas for getting that ROI.
