What's Up Everybody?

Hey guys! Since no one has really discussed anything, I thought it might be nice to kick things off with a little bit about us (whatever you're comfortable sharing on the internet at least) so that we can get acquainted with each other and hopefully then the discussion starts flowing.

We can amend this as we go, but let's share the following to start:

Name: (prefer to remain anonymous) Region/State/City: Pacific Northwest (you can be more specific if you want) University/Education: West Coast Non-Target Major/Minor/GPA: Business with finance concentration + econ minor with 3.72 GPA ECs/Prior Work Experience: Worked at the Big 4 in TAS sophomore summer, Back Office HR Consulting Freshman Summer Goals: I want to eventually move into Corporate Development or become a CFO of a company/division in an emerging market. I'm also interested in the alternative energy/biotech space if possible.

Let's make this group awesome!

Hey Al Bundy,

Great idea, and I figure lots of ppl on WSO are curious about more than just IB careers (or ways they can utilize Corp Finance careers to launch themselves into IB).

Name: (Anonymous) State: NY University: Top 100 Non-Target Major/Minor/GPA: BBA Finance and Economics, 3.9 GPA ECs/Prior Work Experience: Consulting, Investment Management, Structured Products Goals: Still deciding, most likely go back to school

For everyone else, please share your ideas on how we can have this group as productive as possible.
