What's your take on job applications?
Do you:
1) Apply to every job which you find interesting
2) Apply only to those jobs where you're confident you can get an interview.

I can see pros and cons on both sides.
On point 1) you can loose as much as x5 time compared to point 2) but you may be applying and getting interviews for positions which you thought you were underqualified.
On the other side, point 2) has a great chance of getting an interview and you spend less time applying for jobs. The only con is that you already may know everything about that job if you are so qualified to begin with.
Don't apply to jobs where you don't want to work, but think you can get an interview.
I think the whole job application system needs a total overhaul. There needs to be one database that holds a candidate's information, salary requirements, and other features on there and you should just click once per job wanted rather than applying to 1000 places on indeed.com with 1000 different forms you have to fill out. It's inefficient.
We should start a site called "Resume Drop."
a) You upload your PDF Resume
b) You select jobs you want to apply to and click 'apply'.
Cool parts of this system could be an 'apply all' feature. Could knock out applying in 5 min instead of hours and hours and hours. Let's be through with these time consuming resume databases. Streamline the application process.
