'Retire' and live off investments early to mid 40s, then do something more creative / fun. Maybe open a BJJ gym, a cinema, mentor some young people etc.

Yeah I feel the same way. My dream is to have an art gallery in East Village NYC and a MMA gym with a spin studio in SoCal.

"If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them." - Bruce Lee

Don’t know if I’d ever fully “retire” but I definitely plan on cutting back my work when I have a family.

I’ll likely then switch to a more traditional 9-5 that’s hybrid of fully remote.

I guess big goal would be monetizing my passions and just do those for work while my future investments work for me
