When is it ok to start personal trading after leaving IB?
For those of you who recently left investment banking, how long after our last day in banking can we start freely trading in personal accounts with no restrictions whatsoever? Anything else important to know here?
How long after working with confidential info regarding companies can you trade those stocks? Given it's info that will always be confidential, I wonder if we're ever able to trade those stocks after leaving banking...
Just trying to make sure I'm following the rules and don't get in any trouble.
I would talk to compliance at your firm. They will keep your ducks in a row.
