When is Your Office Reopening?
Would be curious to hear when people's offices plan to reopen, if they have been given any guidance? Location / industry would be helpful to know. My office doesn't open until September.

Nothing is set yet, but it won’t happen until after labor
Labor Day was 01 May?
Labor Day in the U.S. is September 7th.
Sounded like August based on a call we had yesterday (NYC). My brother got approval to go back today, but he’s the only one there.
Indefinite at this point - although I would suspect that we phase in like many that I've heard of. Best guess would be to start going back mid-summer - with the majority holding off until labor day or later.
My best guess would be the majority back by fall - with some optionality if you aren't necessarily needed to be physically in the office.
The unofficial guidance / latest thinking at my NYC office is September or October time frame.
It is open now, but working from it is optional
My fiancee's company has a phased reopening plan that isn't tied to specific dates, although they off hand told her to not expect to come back this year.
Hey I sent you a PM a few days ago, was curious if you saw it.
Not sure but my bosses hinted at early July?
NYC / HF
Explicit “nothing before 6/15.” Phased reopening and consideration after that point. Pretty much guarantees late-summer to fall time period for any sort of movement towards increased headcount in the building.
BB NYC
Barclays?
No, but I wish Jes that OG ran my bank. Lucky you. I have a close friend on a markets desk who still floats around the office and mentioned it last week.
June 1st baby (Southeast CBD)
already opened back up #winning
My bank emphasized that traders will most likely come in before the bankers. Depending on how well traders are able to work in the office, then bankers will potentially be allowed to enter. The main difficulty is redesigning the buildings and everything to maintain social distancing. For example, not that many people can now fit in an elevator as before.
Early July, HF in SF
YOu all think larger companies will take longer to re-open because of the liability and number of employees their decision to re-open would affect? Or do you think because smaller companies could get sued to bankruptcy that maybe they are going to take longer?
Looks like the consensus is August / September time frame. What about for those people who still feel unsafe to go back to the office because they are actually uncomfortable / feel unsafe? When will employers draw that line to force people to come to work?
Mid-June in the DC market, going to be phased in by teams somehow
Likely early July but attendance will probably be staggered/optional
BB in NYC, we can go into the office now if we get approval of group COO
I see a lot of comments here saying post-summer. That's probably right, but as more firms tackle the elevator lobby dilemma, I don't think it'll be until 2021 (or a staged group by group on a weekly basis)
I can't reply to anyone anymore but I would like to say that the elevator problem will lead many to not be asekd to come into work because if we work in a 60 feet building, then how can you expect there to be 8 elevators but maintain social distance? Only one person per elevator I believe!
Likely late July or August, at the earliers.
NY MM
Looking like July 1st though it’ll be phased with only several people at the office and remainder at home
LeveragedBetaBuoy, when do you think you will be required to go to work?
Citi is "slowly entering Phase 1" which will include less than 5% of WF in select locations (people who absolutely need to be in the office). Will be given a few weeks heads up of when that will be. No firm dates yet. First phase off three phase return.
Phase 2 - people whose effectiveness would be improved in an office environment.
Phase 3 - everyone else who is comfortable returning.
