Who genuinely doesn't like working for other people ?

Hi, I've done multiple internships already in different fields ranging from IB to consulting to back office stuff. I generally didn't like any of my time working at those places. Does this mean I'm just not used to the corporate environment or I'm just not a good employee in general. I really like doing my own things and starting my own projects/companies. had a couple of companies back in high school and running one part time at the moment. I guess you can't be both at the same time ??

I honestly feel the same thing. I don't want to sound like an entitled prick, but I just think most of my workers are just complete idiots with extreme risk aversion who likes kissing ass. Although, I'm learning a lot from them LOL.

There are two aspects to this; the people and how they treat you. Perhaps you've been unlucky and worked with dicks or people who just aren't nice but I have friends in IB who love their team and bosses. I guess that's just luck. Another aspect is that some people (due to insecurity or whatever) will actively make you feel like you're working FOR them rather than WITH them. This also comes down to being lucky enough to find nice people who have a good team mentality and don't crave power over everyone.
