Trump the Great

Never discuss with idiots, first they drag you at their level, then they beat you with experience.

Until two days ago, it was George Herbert Walker Bush.

May he rest in peace.

Everyone should read the resume of George HW Bush:

  • Combat pilot in WW2, enlisted at 18 years old, 58 combat missions, awarded Distinguished Flying Cross

  • Yale University (after his military service)

  • House of Representatives

  • U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations

  • Head of the Republican National Committee

  • U.S. Envoy to China

  • Director of the Central Intelligence Agency

  • Vice President of the USA

  • President of the USA

  • Presidential Medal of Freedom, Clinton-Bush Katrina fund, etc.

  • Married to the same woman for life; 63 year marriage

What an amazing life.

Be excellent to each other, and party on, dudes.

Seriously, who could be more prestigious than the stylin, profilin, limousine ridin, jet flyin, kiss stealin, wheelin and dealin, son of a gun himself? Lmao cmon

Dayman?

Every time I read any question asking about prestige my dick shrivels up and I get the urge to join the #MeToo movement. Get a life.

This is in some sense an unanswerable question since prestige comes from various sources. You could be a Nobel Prize winner or a Head of State but usually you're both. Usually you don't make it to the top of more than one field.

I'll at least offer an option, though. While I'm not a big fan of his, there's an argument to be made for Bill Clinton. Georgetown>Rhodes Scholar at Oxford>Yale Law>Arkansas AG>Governor>2-Term US President

Arnold schwarzenegger... Born in Austria with an incredibly thick accent. Moved to California to become an actor. Was told this would never happen due to said accent. Ended up getting jacked and going on to win Mr. Olympia 7 times (albeit the last one he shouldn't have won), but still an incredible accomplishment none the less. From there he became a movie star. And then went on to become Governor of California.

Not the most prestigious as far as academics and whatnot... but in the actual definition of prestige, widespread respect and admiration felt for someone or something on the basis of a perception of their achievements or quality, 10 points for him.
