Why do girls typically only have friends of similar attractiveness?

Have noticed you will often see girls who are hot (i.e. from 7 to 9 out of 10 will mostly have friends who are also 7 to 9 out of 10)

Average looking girls (5s and 6s) will either have a mix of hot, average and ugly friends, or just mostly average looking. Ugly girls (below 5) will mostly have ugly friends.

Why do girls do this - why are they so shallow when it comes to choosing their friends?

It's like signaling a social status. If you are incredibly wealthy, you are likely to have incredibly wealthy friends. It's just more common ground to bond on. Same with being a similar level of attractiveness, there's just going to be more common ground.

Do you realise what signals you send about yourself when you ask this question?

None of them are positive.

Those who can, do. Those who can't, post threads about how to do it on WSO.

In matters of friendship people tend to gravitate towards others that are similar to themselves

But this similarity involves different realms...profession, income, interests, personality, appearance, age, religion, political leanings, intelligence, etc. Sometimes one realm will outweigh the others depending on the person's preferences

It's not rockit science

Et voluptatem voluptate ratione facilis ut eum. Id qui repellat quis. Id ex ratione nostrum impedit tempore dolores atque.

Get your facts first, then you can distort them as you please.
