Buyside is quite chill especially if you senior. Very good work life balance. I put in the hard work when i worked for a bank so its chill now.
Big fan of your page (despite being a banker)...curious what the impetus was for you to get so into crypto recently? I've been having a hard time convincing myself to get on the crypto train but I've noticed your content getting more and more crypto focused over the past few months and I tend to respect your opinion on markets so give me a reason to jump in
I think that there is a big demand for a decentralized currency that is not controlled by federal banks and governments. I think everyone should invest into crypto based on what they think the probability of it becoming a reserve currency is. Probably around 2-3% maybe? It's also a good allocation to have as part of your high risk assets.
I am a big fan. I have a few algorithms i built that trade it and obviously big in the NFT space as well. Also think Defi someday will compete with large banks. Far from it but definitely potential.
