Worthless Excel Task - Music Playlist

Occasionally, I like to dabble in the heavy-house/tech genre when I'm copying/pasting contact info in excel, makes me feel like the Jordan Belfort of 21st century.

This also applies to cold emailing MD's that will never respond to me -- gets the heart racing, and puts me in the "grind" zone.

Taking music suggestions.

(For #ref, I'm talking Disco Dancing - Will Sparks, Beat Like This - Bleu Clair, etc.)

Thx

There is this trend currently with young people that refer to Jordan Belfort as a ‘cool moneymaker’ type image that was largely conveyed in the movie with Leo Dicaprio, but in reality Jordan Belfort was a real piece of shit and the fame he has gotten from that movie is a load of bullshit. So really in fact when you say it makes you feel like Jordan Belfort (the real Jordan Belfort), you are in fact dissing yourself to be associated in the same sentence with that POS.

You wouldn’t refer to yourself as the Bernie Madoff of something would you? They are similar people - they took advantage of people and the system. I’ll admit - The Wolf of Wall Street was a good movie and I loved it. I thought Leo DiCaprio, Jonah Hill, and Margot Robbie were all great characters. But, to associate yourself in any way with the real Jordan Belfort to people in finance is just a major self put down that you don’t want to do to yourself.

"If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them." - Bruce Lee

What I hate about the Belfort case more than anything is that he swindled $200MM, was ordered to repay $112MM, and has only repaid $12.8MM (the rest I imagine was spent on hookers and blow; I haven't watched the film), and then has the audacity to rebrand himself as some kind of upright motivational speaker type. He's a pathological liar who still hasn't made amends. He's evil, and he shouldn't be allowed to buy as much as a doormat until he's repaid at least substantially more than what he has. Then you would be approaching justice. Anyone who praises this man is a fool.
