Would you date outside your political or religious beliefs?

Would you or have you ever? How did it work out?

Yes, it’s fine but with the following caveats coming from a person who isn’t religious nor politically dogmatic:

1. Religious or political beliefs can’t invade home life or conversation on a daily, weekly, or even monthly basis. There must be significant common ground in goals, humor, and lifestyle.

2. Person must be open minded and sincerely tolerant of my beliefs and not hoping to convert me.

3. Lastly, the girl should be intelligent about her beliefs. I’ve noticed that most people who openly and loudly discuss their views on politics and religion have not critically thought about their positions, which includes understanding the rationale of counter views. I can’t seriously date someone adamant about any position that they have not reasoned through properly.

I’ve only dated one person briefly who was somewhat religious and she was a bit troubled that I was essentially agnostic. When asked if she has ever considered why someone might not believe in God, she basically implied that they have an option to believe or go to hell - zero critical thinking and little open mindedness. The relationship was over after that conversation.

This is a weak theological argument from her. Satan technically believes in God.
