Sounds super risky. I do have sympathy for the idea that if you raise say a big cat from a very young age, you can sort of domesticate it - let's be real, these animals have hunting instinct and belong in the wild for a reason. A few videos from Middle Eastern Sheikhs having pet cheetahs or Tiger King may seem cool, but unfair on the animal too
Not directly related, but i do definitely support putting endangered species in zoos / enclosures / aquariums for the purpose that their lives would be better off in safe sanctuary than rather hunted in the wild (rhinos or pandas are a good example)
Cheetahs are a bit different from other big cats and they work because they don't naturally eat humans or view them as prey at all. You are safe with a cheetah.

My relative owns a bunch of Siberian tigers and wolves lol it’s always kept me on edge when I visit him. I try to limit my visits but personally see millions of ways that it can go wrong. Not my thing, at max I get a nice Husky or a Dalmatian or an exotic cat like the Bengal or hairless one
