Anyone else find this new notification system... well... shit? Maybe I haven't found a way to alter the settings to my liking but here's some of my issues with it:
1. When you click the mail icon it takes you to direct messages / PMs even if you don't have any unread ones -> requires engagement to even to go your actual notifications
2. Notifications in list format and the "preview" gives no insight, I don't care which post the notification is on, the more important thing is if it's a response / banana / MS -> these should be better organized IMO
3. I don't want a notification when someone else comments on a topic I've made a comment on. Unless it's directly interacting with my post / comment it makes no sense to get an alert just because a specific discussion is "hot"
I agree, although I don’t think this was intentional at all. I’ve never used Drupal before so I’m not sure what it’s like to alter it/ set it up...
If I had more time I’d see if I can see what’s up myself. But I barley make time for anything nowadays, life gets busier.
What notifications? It seems like the only way to find out if someone replied to one of your comments is by looking at your comments again.
I don’t get notifications for ms and sb, I also don’t like how you have to get to the replies yourself instead of the bell icon taking you directly.
