3D printers will erase China's labor advantage over us

This video talks about how 3D printers will change the manufacturing industry.

It says that 3D printers will take away China's labor advantage over North America's disadvantage.

I think it to be true. How else will 3D printers change the game?

I think 3d printing will have huge implications for infrastructure development. If they could create a material that could replace wood, steel and other building materials, it would completely revolutionize the way construction was approached. Pretty cool stuff =]

Charlie Chaplin entered a Charlie Chaplin look-alike contest in Monte Carlo and came in third. Now that's a story. This... is something else.

There's still real estate cost, threat of labor unionization, health care, insurance (employment, general liability, ect). Plus there's no government intervention on the currency (direct, or indirect via rebates). On top of that, I believe it's more difficult to run a scam shop here to evade taxes.
