Big 4 Pre-Interview Social
Hi, I currently have a Big 4 Pre-Interview social (virtual) coming up. I was wondering if anyone has been to one of these? What to expect? Is it informal and what kind of questions should I ask? Never been to one of these, thanks!
Oh no this sounds SUPER cringe. Even the in-person pre-interview dinners/events are kind of cringe. Just try and be normal and ask good questions. Don’t be too focused on the job, be sociable and willing to talk about everyday topics. No clue how it will work virtually but just be respectful and decently sociable and you will be fine.
If you're a sports fan, that's normally a good ice breaker that people like to chat about. Travel is also good. Stay away from politics.
Asking questions and being proactive is what is looked at initially. Good luck with your interview :)

Don’t be weird. Just chill and talk about anything except work. They just want to know you are fun to work with and able to converse with clients.
