Clearing Bank to Commercial/Corporate Banking

Hello,
I am first year Associate in a Clearing Bank, working as a Research Analyst in Chicago. I graduated with my Masters in Finance last year and was wondering how hard it would take to make the move into Corporate/Commercial Banking. I work closely with our Finance and Credit Risk teams here at the bank, so I am comfortable with the terminology. I also have the Series 3, Series 7, and Series 63 (not sure if it matters for banking, however). Any help would be great.

I You already have a foot in the door with the MSF and working with the Credit Risk and Finance teams.

Have you tried talking to teams you've worked with or expressed interest in working with them?

PS. To anyone reading this does the series 7 and 63 help in getting into commercial credit?

So the Credit Risk and Finance are internal teams to the Clearing Bank I work for. I am trying to move to a proper bank (BB or little smaller). I guess the real question is how hard is to break into Commercial/Corporate Banking without having formal credit training, but still have some sort of relevant work experience (both full-time and internships) and having a Masters degree. I've looked at a couple Commercial/Corporate Banking jobs that are within the company's Financial Institutions Group which require the 7 and 63, but that might just be due to the nature of the work.
