Economic Consulting in 2021

Hello WSO,

First time poster, I had searched the previous threads and found some pretty good information but wanted to see if there were any updates on the industry recently, as the previous posts were sort of dated. Would love to learn more about comp progression, exit opps, and lifestyle, in the economic consulting industry. I am particularly interested in Econ Consulting with CFA --> MBA --> HF and if this is a viable path? Opinions outside of the top firms may also be helpful to get a gauge on the industry as a whole. Thanks in advance for your help!
