Why not just get an MSF? You would be at least 27 by the time you graduate from another UG...
usually they dont admit applicants who already hold an undergrad degree. and harvard? first you have to get into such a college. it's not like you wanna go there and they automatically admit you. first try to get some offers and then look where to go. btw i totally agree with the MSF argument. you would indeed be 27 or older when graduating with your 2nd bachelor's, and IB banks usually want to recruit young people. and HF and PE usually recruit from IBs, not out of college, at least rarely
what???? you have to submit a CV when applying for a job. how do you wanna hide, say, four years of your life? and you may not lie on your CV.
Just mention that you attended the Ivy League school in the resume, and leave out the non-target school education. You are not cheating at all since you just choose not to disclose the information.
I transferred and the school I went to last year isn't on my resume. Also, many people have told me to get rid of it, so I don't believe they view it negatively.
Also, to the OP - do an MSF program. It's a better decision and not as much of a waste of your time.
assume you graduated from high school in 2008 and from your non-target school in 2012. then you attend an ivy league school and graduate in 2016. how do you wanna hide that on your cv??? 2008 high school diploma, 2016 bachelor's. everyone notices that. the whole discussion is ridiculous, as ivy leagues actually dont accept applicants to their undergraad colleges who already have a degree in the first place
One-page American resumes generally do not include your high school.
This is a stupid idea. You're best bet is to work your but off for a top MSF program. Don't waste all those years and money on a second undergrad.
